Overview

Hashtag results identify posts, while outreach planning needs distinct creators and comparable metrics. NextBrowser can use your intended Instagram session to resolve authors, inspect profiles and assemble a shortlist. Preserve the sampled posts and the basis of each metric so duplicates and missing data remain visible.

What happens in the video

Using an already signed-in Instagram session, the agent collects 30 hashtag posts and deduplicates their authors into 27 profiles. It corrects author and bio-link extraction, resumes after connection problems, and displays a spreadsheet of profiles, visible Reel averages, links, and bio emails. The agent reports six visible emails and two profiles without visible Reel averages.

Before you start

  • An installed and authenticated local agent: Claude Code or Codex from the ChatGPT desktop app
  • An Instagram account you can use, a niche query and a defined post sample size

Run this in NextBrowser

  1. Prepare the NextBrowser session

    Select the profile holding your intended Instagram account, start the session and confirm the account in Live View. Sign in directly if needed; keep passwords and codes out of the research prompt.

  2. Give the local agent a scoped task

    Select your local agent in NextBrowser. Confirm the active profile and tab for Instagram hashtag results for the target niche. Submit the prompt below in Chat after replacing its placeholders.   3. Collect the task evidence
