Research Reddit discussions and draft replies with NextBrowser

Overview

A useful reply depends on the actual question and existing discussion. Use NextBrowser first for reading threads and preparing drafts in the intended account context. Review each draft before deciding whether to publish it; research permission should not silently become permission to post or vote.

What happens in the video

The agent researches browser-automation discussions on Reddit and prepares contextual replies. After explicit user approval, it submits two comments, handles Reddit confirmation prompts, and checks the resulting threads. The recording also shows upvoting; publication is a separately approved action.

Before you start

• NextBrowser on macOS or Windows, signed in through browser pairing
• An installed and authenticated local agent: Claude Code or Codex from the ChatGPT desktop app
• Search topics, the intended Reddit account and a clear boundary between research and posting

   Prepare the NextBrowser session

   Choose the profile for the intended account and check it in Live View. Start with a research-and-draft task in Chat; do not treat a reusable prompt as permission to post on future runs.

   Give the local agent a scoped task

   Select your local agent in NextBrowser. Confirm the active profile and tab for Reddit discussions relevant to your topic. Submit the prompt below in Chat after replacing its placeholders. The selected profile name is guidance for the agent; check the actual session in the sidebar and Live View.

   Collect the task evidence

   Ask the agent to open candidate threads, read the original question and relevant comments, and draft a response grounded in that context. Return thread URLs and explain why each draft helps the discussion.

   Review the result against the browser

   Review drafts yourself. If you separately approve a specific reply, supervise submission and check the resulting permalink and text. Prompt restrictions are instructions rather than an enforced approval gate, so use Stop if the agent acts outside the agreed scope.
