Research HackerRank articles in NextBrowser with Camoufox
Choose Camoufox in NextBrowser, find featured HackerRank articles and hand off a short list of verified sources for further reading.
About this reference video
The video shows the source task and its recorded outcome. The guide below explains how to run that task through NextBrowser: choose a profile and browser toolset, start a session, then supervise your local agent in Chat and Live View. Interface labels and results can differ from the recording.
Go to the NextBrowser workflow ↓Overview
Finding a few reliable starting sources is a useful first browser task. Select Camoufox as the browser toolset in NextBrowser, collect the featured HackerRank article links and leave one source open for reading. Source discovery and a full article summary are separate tasks with different evidence requirements.
What happens in the video
The operator selects a Camoufox browser profile and asks the agent to find three featured HackerRank blog articles. The agent opens the blog, returns three titles with links, and leaves the first selected article open. The recording verifies source discovery and handoff for further reading, not a full summary of every article.
Before you start
- NextBrowser on macOS or Windows, signed in through browser pairing
- An installed and authenticated local agent: Claude Code or Codex from the ChatGPT desktop app
- A target of three featured articles and a rule for what counts as featured
Run this in NextBrowser
Follow these steps in your own NextBrowser workspace. The video summary records the source demonstration; your result needs the checks below.
Prepare the NextBrowser session
Select Camoufox in the NextBrowser profile toolset, complete any runtime download prompt and start the profile. Confirm that its active tab is the HackerRank blog before dispatching the agent.
Give the local agent a scoped task
Select your local agent in NextBrowser. Confirm the active profile and tab for the HackerRank blog. Submit the prompt below in Chat after replacing its placeholders. The selected profile name is guidance for the agent; check the actual session in the sidebar and Live View.
Collect the task evidence
Ask the agent to inspect the visible featured area and collect three article titles and canonical links. If the layout has changed or fewer than three are featured, report what is visible instead of quietly changing the selection rule.
Review the result against the browser
Open the first selected article in the same profile and check every link and title. The recorded task is source discovery; ask for full-article summaries only as a separate reading step.
Send this prompt in NextBrowser Chat
Use the intended NextBrowser profile [profile name]. First confirm the running session, active tab and target site; stop if they do not match. Using my Camoufox profile, open the HackerRank blog and find three articles currently presented as featured. Return each exact title with its direct URL, explain how it was selected, and leave the first article open for review. Report source URLs, the actual amount collected and any incomplete checks. Keep this run to research; do not purchase, publish or change account settings.
Replace the placeholders, then send this in NextBrowser Chat with the intended profile and agent selected. This is a suggested task, not the recording transcript.
What to verify in your run
- Three verified article links, or an explicit explanation of a smaller visible set
- The first selected article open in the active session for a reading handoff
Questions about this workflow
Does the recording summarize the full articles?
No. It identifies three featured articles and returns their links, then opens the first article for further reading.
Why keep the source URLs?
Featured content changes. Direct links make the research traceable and let a reviewer verify the recorded selection.
